Well, I was going to post Milly first, but I got too excited to put this one up here. I'm so happy with how it came out.
Anywho, I made this because a) there didn't seem to be enough drawings of the two of them together on DA, which made me sad, and b) because of the ones that are here, nobody had shown them like this (which also made me sad).
I was thinking it would be the few moments before he got out of bed to stand by the window. You know, if they actually did something (which...well, I'm sure you've already figured out my opinion on that).
Done in pencil, light touch-up in Photoshop.

I KNOW!! I cried a teeny bit when he died in the anime, but then I mother-fucking SOBBED when he died in the manga. Seriously, for like, half-an-hour, I was bawling my eyes out re-reading that chapter. It was so heart-wrenching...but, I do feel like his death in the anime is one of the most moving scenes I've ever watched. It makes me sad *to my core*. That's the only way I can put it.
At first I was iffy/lukewarm on Milly/Wolfwood, but then I read this --> [link] and I couldn't imagine them not being together. It was so right...And, I mean, once you get to realizing all the cute little things they did together in the background of the anime, you see just how good they were together, and it makes everything horribly bittersweet >< (Btb, I pretty much tell anyone who's interested in Wolfwood about that essay--I think it's utterly fantastic. It totally changed how I saw him as a character.)
